How Texas Districts Approve iTeachAI for In-Service Hours
Texas approves educator continuing professional education (CPE) at multiple levels. The State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) recognizes CPE provider approval through TEA, while Texas school districts and charter networks independently approve PD for their educators under district CPE policies. iTeachAI Academy courses are aligned to TEKS and designed to fit both pathways: district-by-district CPE acceptance and SBEC provider review. iTeachAI Academy is designed for that pathway:
- A district designee reviews one or more courses through a free reviewer account.
- The district documents approved courses on its in-service form.
- Participating teachers complete courses, receive a Certificate of Completion, and submit it to the district for renewal credit.
What Makes Texas Coursework Different at iTeachAI
- Educator-built, not vendor-built. Authored by a 28-year K-12 educator with a doctorate.
- Texas frameworks by name. Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), SBEC Educator Standards, Texas Reading Academies (HB 3), English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), T-TESS (Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System). No generic content.
- Multi-modal. Each course includes a study guide, slide deck, podcast episode (12 to 15 minutes), and video summary.
- Per-course AI tutor. A safety-guardrailed chatbot inside each course answers questions about that course's content.
- $25 per course or $499 for the Wisconsin bundle. Direct purchase, no procurement RFP required.
- IACET-aligned three-clock-hour design. Documentation-ready for district in-service forms.
For Texas School District Leadership
If you direct curriculum, professional learning, or federal programs at a Texas district, I would be glad to send a free reviewer account so a designee can audit any course end to end before approval.
I will also share a sample certificate, the course catalog with descriptions, and a fifteen-minute call at your convenience.
