How Michigan Districts Approve iTeachAI for In-Service Hours
Michigan recognizes State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECH) for educator certificate renewal. iTeachAI's 25 Michigan-aligned courses were submitted to MDE on April 22, 2026 through Saginaw Valley State University's SCECH provider partnership. Michigan districts also approve outside PD locally under Michigan Revised School Code. iTeachAI Academy is designed for that pathway:
- A district designee reviews one or more courses through a free reviewer account.
- The district documents approved courses on its in-service form.
- Participating teachers complete courses, receive a Certificate of Completion, and submit it to the district for renewal credit.
What Makes Michigan Coursework Different at iTeachAI
- Educator-built, not vendor-built. Authored by a 28-year K-12 educator with a doctorate.
- Michigan frameworks by name. Michigan Revised School Code, PA 149 Read by Grade Three Law, MOECS / SCECH Framework, MARSE / MMSE, Michigan NGSS-Aligned Standards. No generic content.
- Multi-modal. Each course includes a study guide, slide deck, podcast episode (12 to 15 minutes), and video summary.
- Per-course AI tutor. A safety-guardrailed chatbot inside each course answers questions about that course's content.
- $25 per course or $499 for the Wisconsin bundle. Direct purchase, no procurement RFP required.
- IACET-aligned three-clock-hour design. Documentation-ready for district in-service forms.
For Michigan School District Leadership
If you direct curriculum, professional learning, or federal programs at a Michigan district, I would be glad to send a free reviewer account so a designee can audit any course end to end before approval.
I will also share a sample certificate, the course catalog with descriptions, and a fifteen-minute call at your convenience.
