How South Carolina Districts Approve iTeachAI for In-Service Hours
South Carolina renewal credit can only be approved through SC districts, SCDE offices, SCDE-sponsored agencies, or SC institutions of higher education. iTeachAI is pursuing IHE-sponsor partnerships with SC universities (Winthrop, USC, Clemson, College of Charleston, SC State) following the Michigan SVSU/SCECH model. SC districts can also approve PD locally for educator renewal. iTeachAI Academy is designed for that pathway:
- A district designee reviews one or more courses through a free reviewer account.
- The district documents approved courses on its in-service form.
- Participating teachers complete courses, receive a Certificate of Completion, and submit it to the district for renewal credit.
What Makes South Carolina Coursework Different at iTeachAI
- Educator-built, not vendor-built. Authored by a 28-year K-12 educator with a doctorate.
- South Carolina frameworks by name. SC College and Career Ready Standards, Read to Succeed Act (Act 284 of 2014), Profile of the SC Graduate, SC Teaching Standards 4.0, SC Safe School Climate Act / Jo-Jo Sheffield Law. No generic content.
- Multi-modal. Each course includes a study guide, slide deck, podcast episode (12 to 15 minutes), and video summary.
- Per-course AI tutor. A safety-guardrailed chatbot inside each course answers questions about that course's content.
- $25 per course or $499 for the Wisconsin bundle. Direct purchase, no procurement RFP required.
- IACET-aligned three-clock-hour design. Documentation-ready for district in-service forms.
For South Carolina School District Leadership
If you direct curriculum, professional learning, or federal programs at a South Carolina district, I would be glad to send a free reviewer account so a designee can audit any course end to end before approval.
I will also share a sample certificate, the course catalog with descriptions, and a fifteen-minute call at your convenience.
